What to do.
Quinta do Cedro was lovely. The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Marina was responsive and communicating with her before and during our stay was easy. The property is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and offers nice views and privacy. It is a 6 minute drive to the small town of Armamar for basic supplies, 15 minutes to Peso da Régua, 25 minutes to Lamego, and 35 minutes to Pinhão. Quinta do Cedro met (and I. Some cases exceeded) our expectations based on the photos. The pool was inviting and we used it several times. It rained several days of our stay and we purchased umbrellas which we hope future quests will have available. We cooked meals at the house most days - basic dishes and cookware were provided but some are due to be replaced (chipped dishes and pots and pans). We also pre-ordered the Eats meal delivery service one night and the food was outstanding. All in all we had a terrific experience and highly recommend Quinta do Cedro! - Bevin from Canada
